This is the only place I will get Mexican food when visiting Evansville. I’m so impressed with the authenticity of the food and the wonderful people who work there. The menu is not the typical Taco Bell, so don’t ask for chips and salsa. If you want something exquisite, try the Mangonada Smoothie!

I’ve tried almost every Mexican restaurant in Evansville, this is the best by a long shot. One of the few restaurants I actually miss living in Chicago now. They have amazing horchata, quesadillas, tamales, rice, and so on. Never had a bad visit, and prices are good. Everyone is super nice. Must try!

The food was fantastic and so was the tres leches cake. Not your typical Mexican restaurant though. We were expecting a sit down meal with chips and salsa at the table, not a pay at the counter place. That being said, though, it was soooo good! EVERY salsa at the salsa bar was incredible... we couldn't choose a favorite!

First time eating here and what an experience! Authentic Mexican at its finest. The tamale was out of this world. I really loved their salsa bar. Great concept. They have a ton of smoothie flavors. I will be back to try one!

Super rico! Authentic and SO delicious!!! The salsa bar is fantastic with lots of unique options. The birria plate, chorizo sopes & alambres were the highlights for us, but everything was REALLY good! Fast, friendly & cost-effective also. 10/10 would recommend!!!

I can’t say enough how much I love this place. Best tacos in town! I finally tried their shrimp taco and it blew me away. Best shrimp taco in town for sure. Everything was delicious as always. So much flavor. Even the tortillas are perfectly grilled, warm, soft and crispy. It’s always like being back home in LA when I’m here tasting their food. Also, I want to note that this place is always so clean and the staff always super friendly and helpful! Shrimp, Carnitas, Asada, Al Pastor! All soooo yummy!

I have to say, this is probably the best and most authentic Mexican restaurant I have had in the Midwest. Born, raised, lifelong Los Angeles resident. When I travel outside of Southern California it is difficult to find authentic Mexican food… ESPECIALLY in the Midwest & east coast. La Campirana is on point.

This is our go-to for the best, authentic Mexican food in the Tri-State area. We've tried many others, but this isn't 'Midwest Mexican' - it is so good! You really can't go wrong with anything on the menu. Their salsa bar and juices are oh so delectable. We keep coming back because it's worth the 40 minute drive!
